A technology executive and entrepreneur with a Virginia Tech MBA and former CPA, Jay brings deep experience in strategic leadership, financial management, and operational execution. He leads Tralyte Health’s fundraising strategy and drives partnerships that position the company for strong, long‑term growth.

After 30 years as an emergency physician, Rick excels in translating complex scientific concepts into accessible terms for laypeople, investors, and healthcare stakeholders. He oversees regulatory and FDA compliance and engages patient advocacy groups (e.g., Hypoparathyroidism Association, American Diabetes Association). 

An award-winning associate professor of chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University, Xuewei is the inventor of Tralyte Health’s Ultrasensitive Blood Testing Technology (PCT/US23/65882). He has secured over $3.5M in research funding as PI, including NIH R01 and R21 grants for electrolyte monitoring. He oversees clinical strategy and R&D. 

An award-winning technology PR professional with multiple successful launches, Laurie was the 2025 Board Chair of Lead Virginia and the former head of Tech PR for Ogilvy Worldwide. She led the PR for the WebMethods IPO, one of the most explosive launches of all time. Her role at Tralyte Health encompasses communications, grant writing, and outreach.

As lead attorney, Gary LeClair of Williams Mullen has led hundreds of private and public financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions and other domestic and international transactions. Before stepping down recently, he was also a long-time member of the VCU Intellectual Property Foundation, giving him extensive experience with the VCU Tech Transfer Office team. 

As Tralyte‘s healthcare acceleration advisor, Fat Robin Consulting CEO Seema Sood leverages her deep industry expertise to guide Tralyte Health from ideation and early stage exploration to rapid commercial success.
